A Glover team member since 1988, Ed Martin has more than 30 years of experience managing and estimating construction and civil projects. As Chief Engineer & Director of Estimating, Ed manages the engineering department, oversees the preparation of all bids and project manages the work Glover is awarded.
Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from North Carolina State University. He entered the construction industry because – as a child – he always enjoyed building something from nothing. In his free time, Ed enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing golf and softball.
His advice to students: “There are so many opportunities in construction – from being an operator to being an engineer. There is something for everyone, at every level of education.”
