Catherine Glover Frazier joined the Glover team after graduating from NC State University. Promoted to Vice President in 2023, she is actively involved in the overall management of the business. She oversees the company’s human resource efforts, and is responsible for the oversight and administration of the company’s business insurance and risk management programs. Her background in public relations and marketing also helps her lead the company’s communication efforts.
As a third-generation member of the family business, Catherine grew up with an appreciation for the industry. Since joining the team, she has developed a passion for the business and the vitality of the construction industry to the local economy and especially wants to educate the younger generation about the opportunities construction can provide.
Catherine and her husband, Eli, are parents to a son, Barrett, who was born in 2023. Outside of the office, you’ll find her cheering for the Wolfpack and, like her Papa and Dad, she enjoys heading down to the farm to deer hunt. Additionally, alongside her husband and in-laws, she is active in Special Olympics, where she has worked on the Games Management Team for Powerlifting at the annual Special Olympics North Carolina Summer Games, the 2018 and 2022 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle and Orlando, and the 2019 and 2023 Special Olympics World Summer Games in both Abu Dhabi and Berlin.
Her advice to anyone considering a career in construction: “In this industry, there are ample opportunities for men and women of all ages in offices and in the field, with varying skill sets. A career in construction is hard work, but it is also very rewarding.”
