SITUATION

Glover Construction was tapped to construct a new two-lane 2.2-mile bypass in Edgecombe County, N.C.

SOLUTION

This project included constructing two new bridges, clearing and grubbing, wick drain installation, hauling almost 350,000 cubic yards of borrow material, installing box culverts and storm drainage, asphalt paving, pavement markings, guardrail, utility relocations, erosion control, curb and gutter and traffic signals.

OUTCOME

• Two new bridges
